Biography

Elena Glebova began figure skating at the age of five. She was introduced to the sport by her older brother, Ilya, who had been advised by doctors to take up winter sports to improve his health.
One day, while watching his training session, Elena fell in love with figure skating and decided to step onto the ice herself.
According to Elena, what fascinated her most were the speed, the feeling of flight, and the jumps. That moment marked the beginning of the journey of a future seven-time Estonian Figure Skating Champion.

From 2012 to 2014, Elena Glebova worked as a figure skating coach in the United States, where she gained valuable international experience and learned modern athlete development and training methods.

“Working in the United States gave me tremendous knowledge and opened new opportunities for professional growth,” Elena recalls.

Her interest in coaching began at an early age. While still competing as an athlete, she closely observed her coaches’ methods, kept detailed training notes, analyzed professional advice, and continuously expanded her knowledge. These experiences later became the foundation of her own coaching philosophy and approach to athlete development.
