Elena Glebova becomes six-time national champion 19.12.11
This past weekend was hosted the Estonian national figure skating championships. According to its results Elena Glebova once again became the strongest skater of the country winning her sixth title in a career with the total score of 152.28 points.
This victory ensured Elena`s participation at the European figure skating championships which will take place in Sheffield, UK in January next year.
The first results of the new cooperation 25.11.11
Elena`s moving to New York and the beginning of cooperation with her new coaches Igor Krokavec,Craig Maurizi and choreographer Olga Orlova bring the first and very significant results. Her competitions during the late summer and autumn were very successful to her by the results and by the general level of performances. She took the first places at the Middle Atlantic Championships 2011 (USA), Cryslal Skate 2011 (Romania) and Merano Cup 2011 (Italy) and was second at the Finlandia Trophy 2011 (Finland). At the Merano Cup Elena has established a new personal best of 157.77 points following the results of two programs.
Currently, Elena is preparing to her performances at the Estonian national championships.
Change of coach 27.05.11
Elena decided to change a coach. After 10 years working together with Anna Levandi (Kondrasheva) they both agreed that to move forward Elena needs some changes. She moved to Hackensack, NJ to prepare for the season. She is now coached by Igor Krokavec and Craig Maurizi, the choreographer is a former ice dancer Olga Orlova.
