Elena Glebova Earned The Olympic Spot For Estonia 21.03.13
Estonian figure skater Elena Glebova finished in the 16th place at the World Championships that took place in London, Canada, March 11-17. In the short program Elena got 54.59 points, which is her season’s best. Moreover, her free skating score (97.90) is the best score she has ever earned at the ISU competitions. The total score (152.49) is also the highest in her career.
Placing 16th at the World Championships, Glebova brought Estonia a spot in the 2014 Olympic Games, which will take place in Sochi, Russia, February 7-13.
Elena Glebova became seven-time Estonian Champion! 19.12.12
Estonian National Figure Skating Championships took place on December 15-16 in Tallinn. Elena Glebova secured a confident victory, thus winning the national title for the seventh time in her career. Her total score is 159.78 points (58.13 for the short program and 101.65 for the free skating). Svetlana Issakova and Heleri Hälvin finished in the second and third places respectively.
Next tournament Elena is going to participate in is European Championships which will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, January 21-27, 2013.
Elena Glebova becomes six-time national champion 19.12.11
This past weekend was hosted the Estonian national figure skating championships. According to its results Elena Glebova once again became the strongest skater of the country winning her sixth title in a career with the total score of 152.28 points.
This victory ensured Elena`s participation at the European figure skating championships which will take place in Sheffield, UK in January next year.
